In going through my list of travel blogs, I realized that I needed to consolidate them into one place. When I gathered them together from various sites, I couldn't believe how many there were. I am in the processing of editing and adding photos, text and other details. This is an ongoing project, there's always something to add or rewrite.
MY SABBATICAL from 2014-15, is the latest and longest blog, (really a book), and has its own page. See above on the navigation bar. I welcome comments, suggestions, photos to make these travel-blogs as interesting as possible for family, friends and future readers. Thanks!

These and many other adventures would never have materialized without the generosity of my son Daniel and daughter-in-law, Elisa. For many years, they have helped me to join them in their travels and homes in Kenya, South Africa, Israel, Italy and the UK, all places that mean so much to me. The book and all the other travel blogs are dedicated to them, with much love and gratitude for making it possible to share in my memories.
In the quest to describe my adventures, I've had enormous help from Daniel who has spent countless hours sorting out my technological woes, and from Ryan in the Chapel Hill Library, I have learnt so much about the technical side of producing something on line. I am grateful for the patience and skills of them both because they gave me the opportunity to ask questions and to explain them in a way I could understand.
